In contrast, we offer a comprehensive course based on years of counter-surveillance and vulnerability assessments (domestic and foreign) in the military and law-enforcement arenas to detect, assess and respond to threats proactively before the encounter forces compromised reactions.
Beginner classes emphasizing the basics of firearms to include safety, nomenclature, operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, cleaning and maintenance as well as what factors to consider when purchasing a firearm.
Building on the knowledge and skills presented in the beginner classes, these classes emphasize gaining proficiency in accuracy , speed, remediation of stoppages, holster work and multiple targets.
Continuing to build on the knowledge and skills presented in the basic classes and refined in the intermediate classes, these classes emphasize gaining proficiency in complex and dynamic environments to include obstacles, threat acquisition and decision making during a defensive encounter.
Teaching firearm safety and proficiency does not not simply involve being a good shooter but being a good shooter is the launching pad for all firearms instructors. Learn the methodology of teaching and how to teach pistol, rifle, shotgun and concealed carry courses. Instructor Development courses enhance the skills of the instructor to provide better course content and delivery as well as building custom courses and evaluation materials.
